The National Weather Service gets so many questions about the possibility of snow in Alabama that they have a page on their website dedicated to the stats. Snow is rare enough, especially when you pin those chances to a single date, like 12-25
The only city with a 100% chance of a white Christmas is Intenational Falls, MN.

The joke in the upper Midwest is: people who live in North Dakota go south to get warm--they go to South Dakota.
