If They Build It........

The Cramton Bowl, Montgomery
The Birmingham News reported over the weekend that a new bowl game could be played in Montgomery not at the massively renovated Cramton Bowl....but at ASU's sparking new and almost unused stadium:

Critics have questioned Alabama State spending so much on a football stadium, and the university has been seeking music concerts and sports events for the venue.

There has only been one game in the ASU stadium: The opening "Turkey Day Classic" in 2012. Shortly after the game, Tuskegee announced it would no longer play in the annual competition, which was played in Cramton Bowl for decades.

Cramton Bowl, 1922, two years before the 1st Turkey Day Classic.

ASU will play Stillman in the 2013 Turkey Day Classic.
