Any poll that is self-selected is immediately suspicious, of course, but this "Business Insider" poll finds Alabama has the ugliest residents.
The deeper the color, the "uglier" the residents.
We also are up there for weirdest accent.

One of the strangest experiences I have had was talking with a native Alabamian who had a strong Dixie accent--up in International Falls, MN--in February. The temperature was 30 below.
ReplyDeleteBut more recently we hosted a visitor who's a native Noo Yawker, and I found his accent perfectly incongruous here in the Deep South.
I'm so ugly that when my wife gave birth to our babies, they took one look at me and wailed.
