Even cutting edge "cool" magazines need to turn down the snark sometimes. Esquire apologized for what they said was a technical glitch thaty positioned the headline "Making Your Morning Commute More Stylist next to the "falling-man" picture from 9-11.
But their apology made things worse:
Esquire didn't cause "confusion". It caused offense.
