    The PEW folks have come up with a list of best practices for banks. Actually, for bank customers.
     For example, does the bank require mandatory binding arbitration, an anti-consumer agreement in which you say you'll never sue the bank? About 2/3 of the Alabama banks in the study do have that requirement.
