Heroes Who Left Us, will be repeated tonight at 10:00. It is the story of two Alabamians who earned the title Hero...one of them almost five years ago, and one almost a century ago.
I would especially invite Montgomery area residents who lived here in the 50's and 60's to watch the story of a veteran, an Army Private, who saved lives and then quietly became a part of the backdrop of life in the Capitol for decades. And, as the fifth anniversary of the most deadly shooting spree in state history approaches, we'll tell the story of a civilian who stepped forward, and lost his life as a result of his bravery.
