Horsemeat

     A Federal Court has cleared the way for horse slaughtering to continue in the U.S., a no-win issue if ever there was one.
     It is appalling, yet how do you counter the argument that horses are starving across the country? And why do we draw a line between some animals that we readily raise and then kill for food and others that we keep as pets, sometimes at great expense?
      The horse meat will go to other countries, by the way, probably places where they eat dogs too.
