Save The Channel!!! Save lives!!!!!

     ABC Reports The Weather Channel wants Congress to act to force a satellite service to carry it because lives will be in danger if they do not. (like that is the only, or even the primary, source of severe weather information?)
     Let's see, the W.C, loves naming storms, so what shall we call this political storm?

    The truth is that the local broadcast channels have a VERY spotty record of captioning weather reports. The Weather Channel is much more reliable in this aspect.

    Plus some of the local channels do not hire trained meteorologists.
