     Montgomery Advertiser columnist Vanetta Penn McPherson has written a thoughtful column on issues that had swirled around my less organized brain for weeks.
     Her subject is the line crossing between public and private schools in Alabama, most recently the desire of some parents who home-school their kids, and who now want those kids to be able to take part in the athletic part of the public school experience.
