Sunday Focus: Smithsonian needs to learn about some GREAT Alabama Small Towns

     For the past three years Smithsonian Magazine has listed what it considers the 20 Best Small Towns to visit in America for that year.

I checked the 2012 list...Not a single Alabama town on it.

I looked back at the 2013 list..Nada.

     

     And now the 2014 list has been released...and again, Smithsonian Magazine has managed to avoid including even a single Alabama town.

   
     As an Alabamian, and a subscriber, let me suggest they consider some of the hundreds of Alabama small towns that were included in the 2010 Alabama Tourism effort called The Year of Alabama Small Towns and Downtowns.
     
     They can visit the Department of Tourism's website for some suggestions.
     Maybe in 2015?
