And You Thought The Sears Catalog was Uncomfortable!

     Archaeologists studying ruins of an ancient Monastery in Sudan have come across a most unusual addition to the building: a "toilet room" with a row of toilets along one wall.

     But while that is interesting, another fact is more unusual. Instead of toilet paper or plant leaves, the people using the facility cleansed themselves using shards of broken pottery...pieces that had been smoothed for that purpose. Recycling of an unusual kind centuries ago.
