Shhhhhh! The Silence of The Crickets

     Some nights, the crickets in my back yard neighborhood are loud enough the make talking difficult, so the story out of Hawaii about cricket populations on two islands learning NOT to make their signature sound caught my attention.

It's evolution, according to the story.
