Allied Van lines reported its annual statistics over the weekend, and it shows more people moving out of Alabama than moving in. That caused a two position drop in the state ranking, from 26th to 24th.
Almost all of the top states people are moving to are in warmer Southern states, while almost all of the states people are moving from are up North.
A caveat: this ranking only includes moves by that one company, and there are many others in the business.
