The first company with a registered online address
-----Symboilcs.com----
is 30 years old today.
As CNN reports, email and the Internet predated The "World Wide Web".
I owned a TSR 80 and a Model 100 (with all of 32kb of ROM!) from the late Radio Shack in the early 80's, and used "Compuserve" as an early online communication service.
I remember seeing a SciFi movie that showed a photo on a computer screen and thinking, they can't do that! And they couldn't, at least not the early computers.
Imagine what the personal computer in 50 years will be like. A chip implanted in your body? Not physical at all?
