The National Guard and Civil Unrest

AlJazeera America  mentions Alabama Governor George Wallace's stand in the schoolhouse door in a story about the use of the national guard to keep the peace.

A Related Side question: will Alabama go along with a U.S. Supreme Court decision that states must allow same-sex marriage...or at least recognize those performed in other states (which in the long run, is the same thing). The state fought Brown V Board of Education for decades. Some would say we are still doing so. Same with other Federal Court decisions.
