How to Make Flying Even More Miserable.

Make the passengers face each other.

     Decades ago a design like it was used to make sure people visiting a coffee shop chain did NOT stay too long. They arranged their counter seats to everyone was looking at someone else. In the coffee shop you could always leave. 
     At 35,000 feet up, that is not much of an option.

Prediction: this scheme  will die a quick death. And deservedly so.
