Washington Post: Sports Does NOT Build Character

    


 We've heard it from hundreds of coaches...from K-12 up to the pros. But a story in Saturday's Washington Post suggests it is not true.

"...much of what we were told sports are all about is mere romanticism."

 And exhibit "A" is the incident in which two high school football players blindsided a referee on the field.
    On Friday morning's Good Morning America on ABC Montgomery, the players said they had been told by their coach to do it.
