"We’re not a very good football team"

Grads of USA---and Tuskegee--- may have had the only reason to cheer among Montgomery area college football fans.
Old Miss beat Alabama 43-37
LSU beat Auburn 45-21
Wisconsin beat Troy 28-3
Grambling State beat ASU 34-10
Faulkner did NOT lose. They also didn't play.
Tuskegee DID win...28-13...over Winston Salem State.
(Perhaps they were inspired by the fact that Saturday was the anniversary of the first ever class taught at the school by the only professor: Booker T. Washington in 1881.)
River Region fans overall score? A 163 to 99 loss.
Expect fewer people in the pews today and an increase in people calling in sick tomorrow.
