I hope Ms. Parks would not be offended by my use of her first name. She is a legend to many here in Montgomery, and I feel as if I knew her personally, though I did not.

Excellent article! Thanks for sharing. Included there was another bit of info I did not realize: "[Rosa Parks] became the first woman to lie in state in the U.S. Capitol when she died."
