2018 PRIMARY ELECTION DAY

See sample ballots HERE--just click on your county EITHER Democratic or Republican----you'll have to choose which party's primary you want to vote in when you arrive at the polls, and show a photo I.D. too.

  Two other thoughts:
A few decades ago the GOP started refusing to call the Democratic Party by its rightful name, substituting  "Democrat". Get it? They are NOT Democratic.  Tee Hee. Aren't we funny?
Anyway, you might note that the official voting page of the Alabama Secretary of State's offices follows that 3rd grade name- calling on the sample ballot sheet. "Democrat" rather than Democratic

                    Juvenile.

And then there's my every year complaint about taxpayers coughing up the money to pay for the Democratic and Republican elections.
And that's what is happening today. POLITICAL PARTY elections. They're choosing which of their candidates will be on the ballot for the real election in November.

If the two major parties want Alabama taxpayer to hold their elections for them, fine. We'll do it. But pay us for the work.

Now GO VOTE!
