The Freedom Rides Museum has been given a 1950's Greyhound bus to restore as part of it's mission of telling the story of The Freedom Riders who took buses to the South to force the desegregation of mass transit.
They arrived in several cities only to be attacked, including in Montgomery where police and State Troopers looked the other way as Montgomery residents assaulted them and the bus.
