climate change. Shhhhhhhh
The group Public Citizen is out with a report criticizing the media, both print and broadcast, for failing to report a connection between extreme weather events of the past few years and climate change.
The report was created before this week's extraordinary record setting deep freeze that included wind chills of -60 in Chicago.

"On the whole, the proportion of pieces that mentioned climate change was disappointingly low. There was no climate‐related form of extreme weather that the media connected to climate change in more than 35 percent of pieces. That high‐water mark comes from articles discussing record drought.4Extreme heat fared similarly, with 34 percent of pieces mentioning climate change. For hurricanes, the rate was just 7 percent."
