CNN reports on Bette sharing this photo on her twitter feed and asking "what's wrong with this picture?"---apparently she was being critical of the three teen girls looking at their phones instead of the art around them. Then the internet came to visit. Watch the CNN Story HERE.
Several years ago, I took a similar photo at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, and made it appear more like a painting for effect.
I didn't comment about the photo, letting it speak for itself. But I remember thinking the same thing Bette wrote, and also thinking the girl sitting on the floor may be looking at the museum website for more information about the artist or the art.
