When you think of International Photo Exhibitions, Selma Alabama is probably not the first place that comes to mind as a location.
But that's exactly what is coming this Spring...just weeks away.
Members of the "9" photo group met at Jasmin Hills Gardens on Sunday afternoon to hear from Stephane Kossmann, a French photographer who is organizing the event after having done the same many times in Europe.
Details are forthcoming, but the April event will follow the same basic framework that he uses in Europe, including a series of locations in Selma for viewing photos accepted for the exhibit, and an after dark outdoor showing of photos, as shown in this photo from his website:
