Capri Theater Closing (for at least 2 weeks)

It is with great regret, and after great consideration, we have decided to close the Capri Theatre for at least the next two weeks. In light of the Center for Disease Controls latest advisory, we are closed effective immediately and until further notice.

The CDC's new guidelines recommend closing for up to eight weeks. We will update you as reopening decisions are made.

All events and screenings have been cancelled through AT LEAST April 2.

No April schedule will be published. We hope to reschedule as many of our cancelled shows as possible. If you bought tickets online to a upcoming show, please call the office for a refund.

Please check our website and Facebook for the latest information.

The Capri office will remain open and working during this time.

And the Capri marquee will remain on to remind you that we've only closed, we haven't left.

Take care of yourself. We look forward to seeing you when we reopen.

Your support will be needed now more than ever. Please consider a donation to help the Capri some of the continuing expenses we will face while we are closed.

Thank you

Martin McCaffery
Director
Capri Theatre

all of this comes as movie ticket purchases plummet. Here's a Hollywood Reporter story.
