In Montgomery (as elsewhere...)
Church Services have been canceled, even a funeral set for this afternoon.
Montgomery Schools were already going to be closed, for Spring Break, but starting on Wednesday that will include all public schools statewide.
I just heard one of the virus experts on CNN tell people not to go to bars or restaurants. Probably good advice, but think about all of the people who earn their living that way.
A friend who owns a B&B suggests people not ask for deposit refunds, but instead apply them to a future trip. These are tough times for small (and large) businesses. Grocery stores seem to be the only places seeing increased business.
The days seem odd, empty, with all of those anchor events and places gone for the moment. At least the weather is cooperating. Imagine if there were weather related power outages?
