Media: 25% Pay Cuts?

 

The owner of the major alt-weekly newspapers in Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Miami, and Denver is cutting salaries.

Voice Media Group is reducing salaries for all employees from 35% to 25%...with the largest cuts impacting management. 

They also say even those cuts may not be enough to save the company. 

VMG used to own The Village Voice in New York, but sold it, and that paper has stopped publishing.
