Less Than 4 Weeks Before Possible Chaos in The Caribean...

The Atlantic Hurricane Season begins on June 1st, and this year, at least right now, there is a multi-Billion Dollar target sitting at sea.

This image, taken on May 2, shows that 10 miles to the west of the islands, another group of cruise ships is located.

And this is just one grouping of the cruise ships....almost all of the are at sea, unable to take on customers because of Corvid19.

And btw-----this season is expected to be a very active one, maybe a record season for hurricanes!

The latest predictions come from Pennsylvania State University’s Earth System Science Center. Scientists there are calling for 20 named storms in the Atlantic this year (the 30-year average is 12). A tropical storm typically earns a name from the National Hurricane Center  when its wind speeds reach 39 miles per hour. If 20 named storms do occur this year, 2020 would become the second most active season on record in terms of the number of storms.
