Nursing Home Covid19 Deaths

The N.Y. Times reports those deaths represents one-third of the national total, but individual state ratios vary greatly.
For example, in Alabama there have been 28 Covid19 deaths in five nursing homes and other long-term care facilities---7%---,but in neighboring Georgia, there have been 672 deaths in 374 facilities...49% of the state totals. (Stats assembled by The New York Times for this story)

(The Times’s numbers are based on official confirmations from states, counties and the facilities themselves. They include residents and, in cases where reporting is available, employees of the facilities. Given the wide variability in the type of information available, the totals shown here almost certainly represent an undercount of the true toll.)
