On one hand, so many people are out of work and need help buying supplies for the new school year (however that turns out to be!), but on the other hand, municipalities that depend on sales tax to pay for services are already hard pressed because of the loss of sales taxes caused by the economic impact of Covid19.
I'm not sure there is any benefit from it.
