I have to say I was doubtful about the statements made to me by the owner of a century old farmhouse at the corner of Norman Bridge Road and Felder Road in Montgomery's Garden District.
I posted about the interview with photos on June 3rd, but I frankly expected nothing to come of the proposed repairs. I even put a note in my website calendar to follow up as Thanksgiving---the day by which he said work would be finished, approached.
Well, this week there is clear evidence that work is underway on the house:
I have a vested interest in what happens. I live not far away, and because of the prominent location---at the entrance to the Garden District---what happens to the property will have an impact on all of our property values.
