Obit: Bob Martin

 

Montgomery Independent newspaper owner Bob Martin's son Jeff says his father died overnight.

"Dad passed away early this morning after a seven year battle with dementia. No longer in a constant state of confusion, it gives us comfort to know he’s now at peace."

Bob was a regular and much-valued guest for many years on Alabama Public Television's "For The Record".
