Birmingham’s annual Veterans Day Parade, which has run through the city’s downtown every year since 1947, won’t happen in its traditional format this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.

There IS a Veterans Day event in Montgomery (there used to be a parade, but it lasted only a few years during the Todd Strange administration). That parade was replaced by a gathering at the Biscuits Baseball stadium. But baseball has also been a Covid19 victim, and the team is anxious for anyone to come to the stadium.
