POLITICO is reporting that Doug Jones is a front runner for U.S. Attorney General in the new Biden Administration.
Jones is a Democrat and was defeated for re-election to his U.S. Senate seat on election day by Republican former football coach Tommy Tubervile. Tuberville promised to adhere to Donald Trump's "build-the-wall" anti-crime thinking.
Trump had said "The hard truth is you will not be safe in Joe Biden's America."
Now, with Trump vanquished---and facing possible criminal charges himself---we'll see.
