These stories pop up all the time, so I was anticipating seeing Alabama at the very bottom.

The headline in the "Wallethub" item:

Most & Least Educated States in America

The lowest five?

#50 Mississippi

#49 West Virgia

#48 Louisianna

#47 Arkansas

#46 Alabama.

 

There's no bragging with that #46 rank, but still, we managed to avoid being on the internal lists of the "lowest average" states in the report. 😌
