From a Military.com article about fighter jets, including the F35s that are due to deploy as part of the Alabama Air National Guard in a year or so:
Some F-35s already have elements of Block 4, such as the Automatic Ground Collision Avoidance System, which helps prevent aircraft from flying into the ground.
Obviously(!), I am not a pilot...much less a military warplane pilot...but isn't that the pilot's job #1?
