afternoon, the Association of County Commissions of Alabama (ACCA)
released to members of the Alabama House of Representatives a
podcast detailing law enforcement and public safety concerns
resulting from House Bill 272. If enacted, this bill would allow
for the permitless carrying of firearms throughout Alabama. The
bill was approved by the House Public Safety and Homeland Security
Committee this morning and is now in position to be considered on
the House floor as early as tomorrow, February
17.
