Giving Alabama An Irish Flavor

 

From now on---in honor of St. Patrick's Day---I'm calling Alabama Counties the way my kin in Ireland refer to theirs:

County Montgomery, County Shelby, and some, like County Connecuh, offer a nice alliteration too.
