ALGOP Poll Shows Voters Prefer Tax Cut Over a Tax Rebate Check
Today the Alabama Republican Party released the first public polling measuring the support of cutting the grocery tax in the State of Alabama, and gives a snapshot of where the citizens of Alabama currently stand on this issue.
The survey comes after recent calls from ALGOP Chairman John Wahl and Lt. Governor Will Ainsworth to give taxpayers a break on their groceries. There has been growing support among Republican lawmakers for the tax cut."
Do we need to point out that Alabama Democrats have been calling for this for decades? So now that the GOP has a super-majority in the legislature, they're for it????? Where was their support before?
