Today's Decision

 

How can anyone be surprised about the court's decision today?

 

• The Feds told Alabama what to do.

• Alabama thumbed their noses at the courts, admitting they were ignoring the orders.

• The courts have therefore taken over and will do the work Alabama refused to do.

The GOP response? Muted, to say the least:

The Alabama Republican Party released the following statement concerning today's decision by the federal three judge panel in the Allen v Milligan redistricting case:

“While we respect the Court, we are disappointed in its decision, and we trust that the State will ultimately prevail in this litigation.”
