A company that distributes spirits and beer, including Johnnie Walker, Crown Royal, J&B and Buchanan’s whiskies, Smirnoff, Cîroc and Ketel One vodkas, Captain Morgan, Baileys, Don Julio, Tanqueray and Guinness is opening a huge facility in Montgomery. AL.COM reports:
"Premium alcohol drink company Diageo North America today announced it will build a $415 million manufacturing and warehousing facility in Montgomery.
The project, slated to be completed by the second half of this year, will create about 100 jobs. An estimated 750 construction jobs will be created during the building phase."
No immediate word about how much money the city or state "invested" to convince the company to locate here.
