I am a dual citizen, U.S., obviously, and Irish, in honor of my ancestors. Three of my grandparents were born there. Yet it was only recently that I realized Ireland was neutral during W.W.II. I suppose it would have been obvious if I'd thought about it...Ireland wasn't bombed, after all. Anyway, to truly correct the omission in my head, I'm reading "That Neutral Island" by Clair Wills.
