Stanley Fish has a fascinating
column in this morning's N.Y. Times about differences. He talks about folks who believe autistic children should be allowed to remain as they are...that autism is the same as eye color or height, and that no "cure" is needed. If that sounds rather "X-Men" to you, he draws the same analogy. When are differences too different?
