Not sure what's the cause, but Twitter has been out of service for several hours today...apparently some kind of hacker attack.
[UPDATE: 11:55am Central: Still out..cause unknown]
[UPDATE 12:55pm Central: Still out. NY Times reports other sites also attacked.]
[UPATE: Twitter back up just after 1:00pm Central.]
