APT

    There are some interesting points, and some misstatements of fact, in a new story about the drama at APT located here.
     The biggest incorrect statement is that the APT building on Madison Avenue in Montgomery is "owned" by the city of Montgomery. The property the building is on in the Paterson Field parking lot IS owned by the city and leased to APT for $1 a year, but the building belongs to APT.
     There have been stories that the building has been sold to ASU, but that's not true either..at least not yet. There hasn't been a closing on the sale yet, and the property ownership is part of the holdup.
