During the clean-up in Kingston, Tennessee

Coal Ash loaded for a trip to Alabama
The walls of a coal ash "pool" next to a Tennessee coal-fired power plant burst, sending tons of the leftovers from burning coal onto the land and into a river. Eventually a lot of that mess ended up being deposited in a landfill in Perry County Alabama.
As if timed to remind folks of the anniversary and the dangers of those ponds, two pickup trucks, a bulldozer, and it's operator were swallowed up into another such pond a couple of weeks ago. The truck drivers were able to escape, but at last report, they were still looking for the body of the bulldozer operator in the ash pit in North Central West-Virginia.
