Air Pollution

Birmingham, late 1970's

     Just two Alabama counties are included in the list of those that do not meet the newly tightened standards for allowable air pollution. 
     The EPA issued the new numbers on Friday under a court imposed deadline.
     Jefferson and Russell Counties will not meet the new standard.
