Three months ago, almost 3/4 of Alabama was in one stage of drought or another.
3.68% of Alabama was in the most serious level of drought...exceptional.
Now??? Just 6.37% of the state is in the least significant drought level, and improvement is forecast.
But Texas and the Southwestern States are still in a persistent drought situation.
