Good article - thanks for sharing. When I heard parts of the court transcript, I was very encouraged to hear how Justices Sotomayor and Kagen - both female - were using their questions to pummel Justice Scalia's comment about "racial entitlement."
One Facebook comment I read said that Scalia's remarks highlight the need for the Voting Rights Act since racism is obviously alive and well even outside the South.
