Attracting Civil Rights Tourists to Alabama

    A Travel writer in Colorado wrote a story that ran over the weekend about the Civil Rights Historical sites in Birmingham and Montgomery...and concluded is this way:

Visiting these places might make you uncomfortable. Or indignant. Or incredibly sad. In any case, it'll be memorable.

     Perhaps not the way many tourism boosters in the state would have written it...but...as they used to say about publicity: it's great as long as they spell my name right. And he did. Here's the article.
